The Fats Cats Are Still Getting Fatter

So, AIG gets a bailout in the billions. Now they plan on paying out bonuses to the tune of 165 million to the same lame bastards and bitches that got them in to the mess.

Still, the plebes sit back and wait for the gruel to drip down to their level. If this economic mess isn't reason enough for a leap toward socialization of some sectors that fail while run by monkeys in suits, then I don't know what is.

I am disgusted at the way this country is run and am ready for a peaceful revolution.

another birthday.....

I turn fifty-three in a couple of hours. I hate this day... because it always reminds me how few friends I have. Nary a card or present will arrive at my door, and there will be no cake unless I make it for myself. My girl bought me breakfast, but I would rather have had a card or a flower or a cheap gift from the dollar store. She does not have much money right now.... but I don't care what an acknowledgement costs, I just want to know that someone actually thought ahead about this day. I have no family, I have no friends. So, unhappy birthday to me. I am on my own, no matter who is in my life....
