I love it that the man opening the door to the oval office isn't white..... can't call him black either. How about we call him mulatto. A generous mix of races and cultures all rolled into one.

I have been reading White House blogs, and checking out all the new websites the kids in the administration have been creating. You can follow most of what Barack and his clan are trying to do via the web. This is our first clearly internet savvy president. Cool huh? Today I sent he and michelle a note about not serving up fancy Wagu beef at official dinners. I told them considering all the waste in government and big business that got us to this precipice of economic disaster they should be serving pork shoulder or beef short ribs instead. Maybe a nice organic chicken to go with their scallops.

Even if I have issues with any administration, I like that we have moved along in our acceptance of folks not like us to elect a man who is not white. Will we ever be able to elect a gay man, a lesbian, a woman of any sort to the office? Only time will tell.
