Waste Pisses Me Off!
So, this kid that is staying in our house went dumpster diving at a local "cool" market. New Seasons to be exact. So, he's digging out all the fabulous food they threw away... really good stuff. Stuff we would use if it was in the cooler at the restaurant where I work. Using what they discarded to feed himself.... Sounds like a good thing, right? Well, guess the store employee that found him scavenging food didn't think so. The person threatened to call the police.

What the hell is up with that? Why would they care... it seems to me that they would, being the politically correct business they perport themselves to be, just put the stuff out so that the people who need it can have it. You should have seen the beautiful fruit and vegetables. Lucious green and yellow and red and orange....

I'm of the opinion, yes another opinion from Jai, that we need to stop wasting what we can use. We need to stop being mean to people who want to use the waste. Leave the cops out of it. Scavenging is in our genes.... and we are better for it!
